cut-out detailing

cutaway trend where cut-out of the fabrics and to show the pieces more sensational on the figure.
it was a big fashion elements of Spring/Summer 2009.
and it's even last-longing until this Fall.

Jean Paul Gaultier mixed the cutaway trend with many of shoulder detailing on the flowy dress, it's make me impress on its S/S 2009 collection.

and I am also highly amazed by the geometric-shaped dress with much triangle cut-out, soft wool, cyber-futuristic elements and heavy embellishments by David Koma A/W 2010.
I wish I would have a chance to meet him or work together with this young-talented.

and my desire keep burning right now for the hottest London Fashion Week A/W 2011, David Koma introduce another experimental yet classy collection with brighter fun, repetition of patterns and hole-punched fabrics.
it's influenced and inspired from a Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama who also known as "obsessive artist" plays with repetition, patterns and accumulations.

playful faces on the blouse and yellow pompoms seen on the collection everywhere, an interesting yet sporty-edged elements could be found out through David Koma grown-up A/W 2011 collection.

vibrant bubbles and dots surrounding all the show, Koma seems like want to bring us to a new level of fun in the playground, in a way of urban-independent and strong.

cut-out fabrics gonna storming around the bloggers and fashionista soon.. I guess I am gonna take this ride...
eehh.. : p
