3/4 : Retro Revolution - Make up and Hairstyle

Simple yet stylish make up and hairdo are perfect for Cheongsam-wear.

A red lipstick is very suitable to bring out the beauty of feminine when wearing a great Cheongsam.
It can make the overall looks more elegant :)

A simple updos is great to match with the Cheongsam.
Little vintage accessories can be use to bring out a graceful look.

Riding a Ducatti, wearing a cool jacket and a pair of boots..
enjoy the excitement when the motorcycle is 'speeding' on the road..
Sounds weird?..
I am just a girl, but having kinds of 'boyish-habit'.. lol

'Jacket-ista' been seen everywhere on the street nowadays.
Jacket could be the highlight or necessary item on your look.

Light Up the Lantern-fashion

Gifted sky lanterns by my lovely friend when this Lunar New Year.
it represents hope, happiness and bring your worries away.
just light up the little candle, make a wish then hoping all your dreams come true in the coming year.
it's kind of wish.

So, when we talking about lantern-inspired fashion, what's in your mind?
they are always cut to be flattering with the use of pretty fabrics in a sensational and sophisticated style.

Spotted lantern-ish element appealing on the pieces of fabric.
they are amplified in the way of polish retro and shapely-edged.

Badgley Mischka Fall 2011

Badgley Mischka knows how to involved 30s' and 40s' vintage glamour to the dresses.
sided-adornment with lantern-ish style is bring out that little black dress could be not so literal in the actual context.
the use of chiffon on the cut-out sleeve makes the dress escape from over-heavy gown with the way of light and easy tailoring.

Carlos Miele Fall 2011

Carlos Miele presented the luxe fashion factor with the use of splashy fabrics, juicy patterns and further elaborate embellishments.
Straight-forward and edgy cutting are the soul of the collection.
I love the way how he applied lantern-ish to those wide pants and matched it with a sequin-knotted belt, simply further enhanced the urban-digital feel.

Marc by Marc Jacobs had turn back the clock with a vintage time-trip.

Generously cuffed with button presented the beauty of feminine sentimental.
